Aldebaran strengthens its teams

07/04/2022

The Aldebaran transformation fund is pleased to announce the recruitment of Marjorie Coëdel as Administrative and Financial Manager, and Marine Ferron as Analyst. The eight-person team, almost equally divided across male and female professionals, is comprised of investment and operational staff with extensive expertise in corporate transformation.

Founded with the aim of putting people back at the heart of transformational investments, Aldebaran has chosen to create an administrative and financial manager position early in the life of the fund to enhance cross-functional projects across the investment and value creation teams. Marjorie Coëdel brings seven years’ experience from the bpifrance Funds of Funds team where she supported numerous management companies and developed her knowledge of the institutional investor landscape. She will be responsible for the administrative and financial management of the management company and the Fund, investor relations, particularly in connection with fund-raising, as well as the management of the management company’s various projects.

The investment team is also strengthened by the arrival of Marine Ferron as Analyst.

Amélie Brossier, Founding and CEO of Aldebaran, said: “We are delighted to welcome Marjorie and Marine to Aldebaran. Marjorie is very familiar with our complex transformation market segment and the management company world. Her experience as a limited partner at bpifrance, the leading institution in France, is a real asset in our fund-raising. As for Marine, she has started a promising career in private equity and has the human qualities required for transformational investments”.

Marjorie Coëdel
Marjorie Coëdel has seven years of experience in private equity, acquired at bpifrance, where she was Senior Investment Manager in the Funds of Funds department. As such, she has invested in and monitored approximately forty, mainly small cap, investment funds. Prior to that, she worked as a Financial Auditor at Deloitte and Controller at Airbus UK.
Marjorie graduated from ESSCA where she specialised in finance.

Marine Ferron
Marine has nearly two years of experience in finance, including more than one year in private equity, acquired during various internships. Prior to joining Aldebaran earlier this year, she was a Trainee Analyst at Experienced Capital, a private equity firm specialising in premium brands and worked in the Private Equity Funds team of Société Générale Private Banking. Prior to that, she had first worked as a Debt Analyst at Crédit du Nord.
Marine holds a MSc in economics and financial engineering from Paris Dauphine University.
